Cathay Pacific has opted to fit the Vector Economy seat in its newest aircraft type, the Airbus A321neo. The airline is now flying the fully featured economy class seats from HAECO Cabin Solutions on these single-aisle aircraft, flying from Hong Kong to regional destinations in Asia.
Vivian Lo, General Manager Customer Experience and Design, Cathay Pacific, said: “We are delighted to extend our partnership with HAECO Cabin Solutions with the Vector Economy seat on the A321neo. It is a similar seat to the one operated on the A350-1000 fleet and we believe that our passengers will appreciate its exceptional comfort, elevating the short-haul flying experience to new levels.”
Improving the Aerospace seating, the Vector Economy seat provides in-flight entertainment and individual passenger amenity stowage. Other comfort-enhancing features like an ergonomic headrest, 11.6-inch HD video display, a folding tablet holder/smartphone ledge, and USB-A and USB-C charging ports, etc. are also present in the new Airbus A321neo fleet.
Doug Rasmussen, President and Group Director of HAECO Cabin Solutions, said: “The Vector Economy seat provides an unparalleled level of passenger comfort for short and long-haul operations. In addition to providing outstanding passenger living space and comfort enhancing features, the seat is lightweight and durable – key considerations for any airline.”
