Meggit has announced about the entry of its fully integrated braking system service on the Gulfstream G600. Also, a similar system on the G500 fleet has reached more than 2,000 flight hours in less than six months.
The company is the sole supplier of braking systems for in-service fleet of Gulfstream and supplies a fully integrated braking system for the G500 and G600 aircraft, including the main and nose wheels, carbon brakes, the type pressure monitoring system, brake control system, brake temperature monitoring system and full auto-brake capability through touchscreen controls.
The General Manager of Braking Systems at Meggit, Brian Bondarenko, said: “Meggit continues to expand brake and brake system design to include ATA32 control and monitoring capability as exemplified on the G500 and G600 aircraft.”
