Anisoprint (Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg, U.K.) demonstrates the power of composite additive manufacturing (AM) by powering its PROM IS 500 continuous carbon fiber 3D industrial printers with Bosch Rexroth’s (Lohr am Main, Germany) MTX, a tried-and-proven CNC system for industrial 3D printing technologies. PROM IS 500’s premiere will also be celebrated at this year’s Formnext AM conference, Nov. 16-19, 2021.
“We’ve chosen MTX because it’s considered the most powerful CNC system solution on the market,” says Evgeny Babarykin, PROM IS 500 product owner at Anisoprint. “In combination with the high-quality automation and mechanical components, the open software systems allow unlimited possibilities for innovative technologies.”
According to Anisoprint, MTX is its entry point into the Internet of Things (IoT): All data is collected and processed in real time, allowing rapid reaction times. In this open architecture, the printer is also said to communicate seamlessly with higher level systems like Aura and Aura.Connect. Standardized interfaces enable easier adaptation to new hardware and software environments, for the realization of flexible and fast reactions to customer demands, or new developments. MTX also offers high-output milling, turning, grinding, punching, cutting, lasering and bending, with intuitive multi-touch operation.
